Target Blu Eye

The Blu Eye is the legal way of detecting emergency vehicles and checkpoints. In addition, the Blu Eye warns when unmarked patrol cars, police cars, ambulances and fire engines approach. Blu Eye is based on the new TETRA radio network, which is used by police and rescue services in most EU countries.

Visual and audible warnings are given via a small control panel. The distance to an emergency vehicle can be read from the signal strength indicator.
The reception sensitivity can also be set via the control panel, where you can choose between city and motorway mode. Depending on the sensitivity, advance warnings from a few 100 metres up to one kilometre are possible.

Difference to the Target Blu Eye 2

In addition to the 200 low channels, the Target Blu Eye 2 also receives 600 high TETRA/Airwave channels, can display up to three emergency services at the same time and is available with an LED display for the rear-view mirror or with an LCD display.
