Light-barrier jammers are devices designed for light-barrier measuring systems from the ESO brand, colloquially also known as the “tripod”. A light-barrier jammer is not a radar detector but a stand-alone device. It is activated via the vehicle’s power supply, and the small sensors or transmitters can be placed, for example, in the radiator grille, in the glove compartment or in the number plate holder.
Three questions matter when choosing: Should the device be permanently installed or used on the move via the 12 V socket? Is one sensor enough, or would you like two sensors for both sides of the road, as with the ESO Guard DUAL? And which generation of measuring system is the device designed for, for example ESO 3.0? Please note the manufacturer’s information on the product pages. If anything is unclear, and for installation, we will be glad to help you via the Installation Service.
