Stinger VIP radar detector & Stinger Freedom Laser fibre optic

This set combines the Stinger VIP fixed-installation radar detector, Stinger VIP, with the Stinger Freedom Laser: the radar detector is installed in the engine compartment, and the laser sensors are fitted as glass-fibre sensors in the front of the vehicle.

Invisible radar detector for concealed installation
The Stinger VIP can be installed invisibly in the engine compartment. Warnings are shown on a modern colour touch display inside the vehicle. Audible warning signals are also sounded. If required, a voice output for the warning can also be activated, so the driver is not distracted from the traffic. If necessary, the display can be removed from its magnetic mount in one movement.

Maximum safety
Mobile speed traps, laser guns, section control measurements, moving radar (from moving vehicles), fixed speed traps and red-light cameras are reliably detected.

Stinger VIP laser

OPTIMUM LASER PROTECTION – COMPLETELY INVISIBLE
The Stinger lasers with glass-fibre optics detect and analyse laser measurements reliably and invisibly. The receiver and jammer sensors are each bundled in a separate glass-fibre cable with a diameter of approx. 2.7 mm (laser jammer) and approx. 3.2 mm (laser receiver). Because the receiver and jammer sensors are separate, the individual glass fibres can be installed almost invisibly.

For a normal car, at least 1 receiver and 1 laser jammer (single version) are required at the front of the vehicle. For more safety and better coverage, we recommend 2 receivers and 2 jammers in each case (DUAL VERSION). For SUVs or vans, please choose the DUAL version with 2 receiver and 2 jammer sensors per vehicle front for reliable operation.

Future-proof
Thanks to its modular design, the system can be extended with additional sensors so that you remain fully protected in the future too.

Difference to the individual products

The Stinger VIP radar detector is the radar detector on its own; to be warned of laser measurements you additionally need the laser sensors of the Stinger Freedom Laser. This set contains both systems.
