Improved false alarm filter

With the introduction of driver assistance systems in modern cars, additional problems and frequent false alarms arose for radar detectors. As the assistance systems use similar frequencies to conventional speed traps. The Escort RedLine EX detects the signals of the driver assistance systems and separates them from the signals of the real speed traps, thus avoiding unnecessary false alarms.

AutoLearn technology

The AutoLearn function of the RedLine EX combines GPS location information with the unique frequency range of the received radar signals. This allows the radar detector to automatically detect false alarms and filter them in the future. You will hear fewer false alarms even if you do not manually mark these locations as false alarms. After only three occurrences of a false alarm at the same location, this location will be filtered fully automatically in the future using GPS positioning.

Quick visualisation of hazards

The new OLED display gives you a quick and clear overview of relevant information on incoming hazard alarms. Clear symbols and an additional LED provide a perfect visual warning for additional protection. The brightness of the display can be adjusted in steps from bright to dark and customised in colour.

Two antennas for perfect reception

Two radar antennas give you the earliest possible warnings for all European frequencies. The new GATSO, Multaradar CT (MRCT) / Multaradar CD (MRCD) / MultaRadar Moving and Gatso radar traps are also detected early. The Redline EX is additionally equipped with several laser sensors. Among them is a special laser receiver to detect a speed measurement from behind. Patented digital signal processing analyses incoming transmissions and filters out noise, minimising nuisance false alarms.

The RedLine EX International comes with a pre-loaded database of fixed speed and traffic light speed cameras and section control sections across Europe. With the integrated GPS receiver and the Europe database, even fixed speed traps are reliably reported. Updates for the database can be downloaded and installed at any time. You need a subscription and a Windows®-based computer to update the RedLine EX database.

Practically invisible for detection

TotalShield technology ensures that you cannot be tracked. Even the current VG2 and Spectre radar detector detectors used by the police cannot locate the Escort radar detector. With this added benefit, you can use the Escort Redline EX with confidence.

Save your own danger spots and automatic muting

You can save your own danger spots at the touch of a button. In future, the RedLine EX will warn you at these locations as soon as you approach. Or press the mute button at a location where you do not want to be warned in the future. The Redline Radar Detector remembers the GPS coordinates and radar frequency and silences the alarm the next time you drive past the location. If a different radar frequency is received at that location, for example due to a speed trap, the Escort EX will still warn you in the future.

User-friendly operation

The RedLine EX radar detector makes it easy for you to take advantage of its great technology. With two pre-configured sensitivity levels, you can set the radar detector for use in the city and on the motorway. The digital voice alert is in English or Spanish, and you can use the mute function to adjust the volume or turn it off altogether.

SmartCord and travel case

Your Escort RedLine EX comes with a travel case and a 12-volt SmartCord connection cable for the cigarette lighter. The advanced mount attaches securely to the windscreen and allows the radar detector to be mounted quickly. With the integrated LED in the SmartCord cable, you can see warnings even when the display is switched off.

Note: The Escort Redline has good laser reception, but for safe laser protection we recommend the use of an active laser blocker e.g. AL Priority or LaserTrack Flare.
